IT Landscape Profiling™

Our rapid profiling method identifies an organisation's maturity and effectiveness across a number of disciplines and practices, namely:

  • Service lifecycle management from strategy through operation & continuous service improvement
  • Effective management & governance for delivering IT change
  • Cost transparency for service pricing & chargeback

How It Works

Profiling can be undertaken online, through one-to-one meetings or via facilitated workshops. Through a robust and comprehensive assessment method across eight functional themes, we identify the current 'as is' environment and associated levels of performance against a desired 'to be' target. Landscape profiling results in an initial set of gaps, issues and constraints prepared alongside an action plan to bring immediate benefits.

Output

The output of the Landscape Profiling tool is an easy-to-read one page radar diagram (as shown below from a strategic product assessment) illustrating the major gaps or constraints. This is reviewed and agreed with stakeholders along with the action plan - getting a clear understanding and agreement of proposed change at this stage increases the chance of early success.
